Offering Message By Pastor Ming

Malachi chapter 3 verse 10-12
10 Bring all the tenth parts into the storehouse, that there may come to be food in my house; and test me out, please, in this respect,” Jehovah of armies has said, “whether I shall not open to YOU people the floodgates of the heavens and actually empty out upon YOU a blessing until there is no more want.”
11 “And I will rebuke for YOU the devouring one, and it will not ruin for YOU the fruit of the ground, nor will the vine in the field prove fruitless for YOU,” Jehovah of armies has said.
12 “And all the nations will have to pronounce YOU happy, for YOU yourselves will become a land of delight,” Jehovah of armies has said.

TITHE

1) We need to tithe, cause God tell us to, and also to test Him out to bless us.
2) The Church we attend need our help, or else how City Harvest can donate to SiChuan a large amount, all these money come from you and me.
3) When we tithe, it keep us focus on God and trust on God. It is the same in opposite, when you don't tithe, is because you don't trust God will bless you. :)

Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 18
18 And you must remember Jehovah your God, because he is the giver of power to you to make wealth; in order to carry out his covenant that he swore to your forefathers, as at this day.

When you remember God, God will remember your tithing also, and the heaven will pour down blessing for you. Even when you need anything, to secure appointment for insurance or close sales, or find hotel for your wedding, God will remember you and He will rebuke the devourable for your sake. Amen. So keep tithing and trust God.

Deuteronomy chapter 26 verse 12-15
12 “When you finish with tithing the entire tenth of your produce in the third year, the year of the tenth, you must also give it to the Levite, the alien resident, the fatherless boy and the widow, and they must eat it within your gates and satisfy themselves.
13 And you must say before Jehovah your God, ‘I have cleared away what is holy from the house and I have also given it to the Levite and the alien resident, the fatherless boy and the widow, in accord with all your commandment that you have commanded me. I have not overstepped your commandments, nor have I forgotten.
14 I have not eaten of it during my mourning, nor have I removed any of it while unclean, nor have I given any of it for anyone dead. I have listened to the voice of Jehovah my God. I have done in accord with all that you have commanded me.
15 Do look down from your holy dwelling, the heavens, and bless your people Israel and the soil that you have given us, just as you swore to our forefathers, the land flowing with milk and honey.’

Luke chapter 4 verse 18

18 “Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor, he sent me forth to preach a release to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind, to send the crushed ones away with a release,

Mark chapter 1 verse 40

40 There also came to him a leper, entreating him even on bended knee, saying to him: “If you just want to, you can make me clean.”

Jesus is here for us and not against us. He come to preach the Word, so we can have freedom and truth in our life like Him. He also came to this world to redeem us. And even the Leper have faith that Jesus can cleanse and heal him. Cause the Leper know He is the Son of the Living God who have power in the Earth and Heaven.

Luke chapter 24 verse 15 -21

15 Now as they were conversing and discussing, Jesus himself approached and began walking with them;

16 but their eyes were kept from recognizing him.

17 He said to them: “What are these matters that YOU are debating between yourselves as YOU walk along?” And they stood still with sad faces.

18 In answer the one named Cle´o·pas said to him: “Are you dwelling as an alien by yourself in Jerusalem and so do not know the things that have occurred in her in these days?”

19 And he said to them: “What things?” They said to him: “The things concerning Jesus the Naz·a·rene´, who became a prophet powerful in work and word before God and all the people;

20 and how our chief priests and rulers handed him over to the sentence of death and impaled him.

21 But we were hoping that this [man] was the one destined to deliver Israel; yes, and besides all these things, this makes the third day since these things occurred.

Luke chapter 24 verse 32

32 And they said to each other: “Were not our hearts burning as he was speaking to us on the road, as he was fully opening up the Scriptures to us?”

If in the older days the Disciple was HOPING="expectation" Jesus to come, and it came after that to meet them in the house. How about us the modern time Christian now, we should more be ready and to EXPECT to wait for Him to come and restore everything. We need to re-focus on the Scripture.

I believe everyone of us have go through a very bad experience before in our life. Some of us here when we were young, we face alot of trauma. Maybe some are been sex-abused, been beaten up, been mock because of wedlock and etc.... As for me, I was beaten by my father since young from kindergarden till Primary 6. And every year my beating seem to be more violent and violent. Life is very miserable when I was young. To elaborate in blog, it can't be done.

Can you imagine when I was kindergarden, my father take his brief case and smack me.

Primary 1 he threaten me he will beat me if I don't study hard. Primary 2 he take sugar cane, break it into 2 to wallop me. Primary 3 he take wood to hit my head (I can't remember is there any blood). Primary 4 I was been whack with belt, he even go to school and whack me in the public. Primary 5 slightly better, just threaten me, he say he will give my head break with his fist if I don't be good and study hard. Primary 6 I receive the most "jia lat" one, he take his WuShu stick to beat me, and take the stick to smash the chair break, lock me inside the room and beat me up, make me kneel in front of Kuan Yin altar for about 4 hour, after that wallop me again, until my brother come out and stop. And this trauma follow me very long and I can't forgive my father. And that is not all.. I still got alot of humilation I never tell you when I was at Detention Barrack and Prison and my life.

But after go back to God again, Consecrate my life, Attend Bible Study and Baptism and etc... I have forgive those who hurt me, I even want to reconcile with them. I even forgive my dad even something I'm not in the wrong. Because God told me to do so, and Jesus have restore and heal my brokeness, and I have Holy Spirit who always help me and teach me to live a godly life.

Remember, unforgiveness cause bitterness. 2000years ago, He suffer all shame, and yet before His last breath He pray and say: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" and He is now sitting at the right hand of God everyday interceding for us, you might think is hard for our modern time to do it. But take my example, or take others example that forgive when they are badly mistreated.

Friends! If today you have something like hatred still clinging to you that you can't let go, I think YOU need to have a open heart to invite Jesus into your life to cleanse, heal, cure and restore all your brokeness, because through our own strength we cannot do it, I believe even some people see psychiatric officer cannot recover is because they never take the first step to change. :) And to change, we need to change our thinking as well.

Please pray this prayer: Jesus! I need You right now, I invite You to come into my life to cure, heal, and restored me back to who You want me to be in the earth I come from. I want to have a relationship with You, teach me and guide me as everyday I live. I give You all my burden, I want to exchange with You, for your is light, in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
