Acts chapter 4 verse 31
31 And when they had made supplication, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were one and all filled with the holy spirit and were speaking the word of God with boldness.

Not only they experience God, but the place was shaken. We also can have it for cellgroup till the place was shaken and experience strong tangible presence of God. Next time when you come or go to cellgroup, you can do it better in praise and worship.

Acts chapter 4 verse 32-33
32 Moreover, the multitude of those who had believed had one heart and soul, and not even one would say that any of the things he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common. 33 Also, with great power the apostles continued giving forth the witness concerning the resurrection of the Lord Jesus; and undeserved kindness in large measure was upon them all.

Many are young believer during that time, and they generously share material goods with one another, they also witness and share the power of God, and grace come.

Question is do you just witness for the sake of witness, do you share with power???

Acts chapter 2 verse 44-45
44 All those who became believers were together in having all things in common,
45 and they went selling their possessions and properties and distributing the [proceeds] to all, just as anyone would have the need.

We learn to share good things!

Matthew chapter 6 verse 19-21
19 “Stop storing up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 Rather, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Early church live on Jesus teaching like these.

Acts chapter 4 verse 32
32 Moreover, the multitude of those who had believed had one heart and soul, and not even one would say that any of the things he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common.

The people believe in one heart and one soul! When Holy Spirit touch them, they give generously.

3 Things happen when Holy Spirit touch you:

1- You'll learn to love genuine

- Through your giving, it can show how much you love.
- When you fall in love, you sure want to give something to the opposite sex, so when you love God you will want to give.
- So when you meet the one you love, you also want to dress your best, so when you love God, you come to church also will dress best!

John chapter 3 verse 16
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

2- You'll understand the purpose of God

- Holy Spirit is a generous person, when He live in you, you become generous also, you will give seat to those needy in bus and not "ke siao" :)
- You will learn to bless, share and give:) Giver are mostly generous and happy one.
- When you water other, God will water you also.

Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 18
18 And you must remember Jehovah your God, because he is the giver of power to you to make wealth; in order to carry out his covenant that he swore to your forefathers, as at this day.

3- You'll have faith in God continual provision

Proverbs chapter 11 verse 25
25 The generous soul will itself be made fat, and the one freely watering [others] will himself also be freely watered.

- We must learn not only to give in money, but time and serve!
- Annaias and wife die, they do for motive and for promotion, by saying these, not to scare you or discourage you, but we need to serve with a good heart!
- Barnabas give generously to the work of God
- What is $50,000, don't be so rich and proud.
- Ming Jing know people who are not only millionaire, but multi millionaire, but they are humble.

Now this is the time, Asia Conference is coming, if you draw back, God take no pleasure in you, we need to press on and pray! When you have the "Zoe" life= mean "God life", you will have extra energy to do much more things for the Kingdom of God.

We need to start to: Pray, Read the Word of God, Hungry for His presence, Tithe, Witness and balance our life. And this is the early church during the Book of Acts do, so we must do also! Amen.

Lawrence and Lilian Testimony:
Lawrence use to declare bankruptcy, he and the wife even got no money to buy bus fare to travel, and they survive one meal a day, and sometime they even don't have the money to give to their little boy pocket money to go school. But in Business Breakthrough Group, Pastor Ming and members go to grocery shop with them and blessed them with foods. Indeed God is faithful, day by day He provide for them to survive.

And when Arise and Build come, they give total of $6,000 with is equal to 30% of their household. And Lilian was suspect of cancer, but after prayer, the result turn out to be safe.

Now Lawrence is earning a 5 digit income, and during that time he go and pursue his study Public Admin Master Degree at LKY to serve govermental body more effectively, and he influence 45,000 CEO throughout the world

John chapter 11 verse 40
40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

And business is good for Lawrence, he close a $50k deal continually 2 month, and plus a new deal worth $40k deal is coming in.

Lawrence and Lilian say: "We rejoice even we walk in the valley of death. 6month we come in to City Harvest broke and broken, but now we prosper." Amen!

I guess you guys did not know that Pastor Kong actually fly here and there to many country in between the Building Fund Series. He actually fly to Auckland, Hawaii and etc everytime after finish the sermon on Building Fund, then he come back again and preach to us, then in between monday to friday, he fly again. Pastor Kong feel very safe, he just want to thank us for praying for him when he travel.

Luke chapter 16 verse 13
13 No house servant can be a slave to two masters; for, either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. YOU cannot be slaves to God and to riches.”

In NKJV Bible Version, riches are read as mammon.
=Mammon in modern translation is called: money.. not very true.
=Mammon is Syrian god of Debt, where they charge interest and sell people to slavery when you can't pay up and etc. . .

In U.S, Henry Paulson is a very influential person, he talk make very big different in money world.

You can't serve God effectively when you are in debt.

1 LOAN= Borrowed money that's servicable=
Example: some people use loan to do investment or buy house

1.1 Invest things that appreciate

2 DEBT= Borrowed money that's unservicable
Example: Borrowed money go and buy thing for your own pleasure

2.1 Invest in things that depreciate -> Buy car ready and sell car, you won't get back the same amount you buy

Proverbs chapter 22 verse 6-7
6 Train up a boy according to the way for him; even when he grows old he will not turn aside from it.
7 The rich is the one that rules over those of little means, and the borrower is servant to the man doing the lending.

-Debt is addictive, and Jesus call it demonic, this will bondage you and stop you from the will of God.
-Example God spoke to you to go SOT, Mission Trip and etc . . . You say no.... busy... no money... this and that... why.. most people are tied down because of debt and need to work 2-3 job, and that is why debt hold you down and you can't serve God effectively.

~ANCIENT TIME ARISE AND BUILD~

2 Kings chapter 6 verse 4-7
4 Accordingly he went with them, and they finally came to the Jordan and began to cut down the trees.
5 And it came about that a certain one was felling his beam, and the axhead itself fell into the water. And he began to cry out and say: “Alas, my master, for it was borrowed!”
6 Then the man of the [true] God said: “Where did it fall?” So he showed him the place. Immediately he cut off a piece of wood and threw it there and made the axhead float.
7 He now said: “Lift it up for yourself.” At once he thrust his hand out and took it.

In some case, debt enforce bankrupt, seperate children from father and etc. . .

Say this to yourself:
MY GOD STORE UP WEALTH FOR ME
MY GOD IS DEBT CANCELLING GOD

If we ask and believe, He will do it for us. Amen!

Nehemiah chapter 5 verse 3-6
3 And there were those who were saying: “Our fields and our vineyards and our houses we are giving as security that we may get grain during the food shortage.”
4 And there were those who were saying: “We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute on our fields and our vineyards.
5 And now our flesh is the same as the flesh of our brothers; our sons are the same as their sons, but here we are reducing our sons and our daughters to slaves, and there are some of our daughters already reduced; and there is no power in our hands while our fields and our vineyards belong to others.”
6 Now I became very angry as soon as I heard their outcry and these words.

Nehemiah is like marketplace prophet, he is like Pastor Kong, not a full time.
You need start to get angry for keep on lending.
God will help you, if you really want to get out of debt.

Nehemiah chapter 5 verse 11-12
11 Please, restore to them on this day their fields, their vineyards, their olive groves and their houses, and the hundredth of the money and the grain, the new wine and the oil that YOU are exacting as interest from them.”
12 To this they said: “We shall make restoration, and from them we shall ask nothing back. We shall do precisely as you are saying.” So I called the priests and made them swear to do according to this word.

In one day, God miraculous cancel all debt. In the days, Nehemiah confront the ancient
"loan shark".

SAY: MY GOD IS A CANCELLING DEBT GOD

In Old Testament time, every 7year, debt will cancel, 7 cycle of 7year is the Jubilee. God is not a God cancel debt 1 time, 2 time or 3 time, but everytime. Amen!

God is not against for borrow, we can lend, but faster pay back.
Borrow loan for study is ok, we are upgrading ourselves, but borrow as a habit is no good.

Deuteronomy chapter 15 verse 6
6 For Jehovah your God will indeed bless you just as he has promised you, and you will certainly lend on pledge to many nations, whereas you yourself will not borrow; and you must dominate over many nations, whereas over you they will not dominate.

Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 12
12 Jehovah will open up to you his good storehouse, the heavens, to give the rain on your land in its season and to bless every deed of your hand; and you will certainly lend to many nations, while you yourself will not borrow.

Psalms chapter 37 verse 21
21 The wicked one is borrowing and does not pay back,But the righteous one is showing favor and is making gifts.

Let listen what Solomon the wise and rich man advice he got to give us.

1. Keep good RECORD

Proverbs chapter 27 verse 23-24 (TLB)
Riches can disappear fast ... so watch your business interests closely. Know the state of your flocks and your herds.

Pastor Kong keep a file of what he spend.
You need to know where your money go to. They always say got money got talk, actually is no! Money don't talk, that's why they sneakly go away and you don't know what you spend, haha!

Ignorance + Easy Borrowing = DISASTER!
YOU need to know what you owe!

2. PLAN my spending

Proverbs chapter 21 verse 5 (GNB)
Plan carefully and you will have plenty; if you act too quickly, you will never have enough.

City Harvest Building at Jurong West you visit is the building where we build during economy the hardest time, and yet is with cash and not in debt.

... Stupid people spend their money as fast as they get it.

- This is GOD IQ test, we must have a budget.

- You must start to clear all your overdraft, hp bill and etc. . . . I also starting to do that.

3. REDUCE my debts rapidly

Instead of paying 15 years flat, why don't do it asap when you can do it asap.

If you got problem keep on use credit card, start to plaster it. Instead of using credit card, use cash instead. God won't help you if you purposely, let Him know that you are serious, and He will help you.

Proverbs chapter 3 verse 27-28 (TLB)
Don't withhold repayment of your debts. Don't say "some other time," if you can pay now.

4. Pay my TITHES faithfully to the house of God

If you say you are kingdom minded and serious about God, but if you can't give 10percent, how you want to give more like 90percent, as you know some people say they want to give God alot as they can.

Nehemiah chapter 13 verse 10-12
10 And I got to find out that the very portions of the Levites had not been given [them], so that the Levites and the singers doing the work went running off, each one to his own field.
11 And I began to find fault with the deputy rulers and say: “Why has the house of the [true] God been neglected?” Consequently I collected them together and stationed them at their standing place.
12 And all Judah, for their part, brought in the tenth of the grain and of the new wine and of the oil to the stores.

Malachi chapter 3 verse 10-11
10 Bring all the tenth parts into the storehouse, that there may come to be food in my house; and test me out, please, in this respect,” Jehovah of armies has said, “whether I shall not open to YOU people the floodgates of the heavens and actually empty out upon YOU a blessing until there is no more want.”
11 “And I will rebuke for YOU the devouring one, and it will not ruin for YOU the fruit of the ground, nor will the vine in the field prove fruitless for YOU,” Jehovah of armies has said.

5 Things when I tithe:
1 Church will be a blessing to all when we tithe, so we can help those who in need
2 There will be a open heaven for our life and church
3 Devourable that stop our money coming in will be rebuke away
4 God will protect, our hard work will bear fruit
5 Spirit led investment will prosper, I just can't afford not to tithe.

5. Give my best OFFERING to God

After tithing, we give offering! For me, if there is always a chance to give, I will want to give, and I want to give according to what God spoke to me, and I want to give something that will pain me and please God, I don't want to give something that cost me nothing. If He can give His only begotten Son, how can my money compare to His great love.

Pastor Kong and Sun are in debt of 14K, and they give all their pay check 2.4k, and guess what, blessing start to ome in. Seriously, if God speak to you and you trust Him and give, He will never short change you.

So what! If you have is less and small, throw it to the Kingdom of God. And it will grow!
Praise Him that He is your deliverer, and He will deliver you! Praise Him that He is your Provider, and He will provide you!

Let's prosper together, He is not taking money from us, He is not taker, but giver, that's why He give us Life! If you want to see the Axehead float, you must sow something! During the time of Nehemiah the Jews are in debt, cause they neglect the House of God in Tithe and these and that.

We may live in a heartland area and church in a heart land area, but we are going to multi millionaire in the future and we are not building a heart land area, but in the market place!

2 Kings chapter 4 verse 1-2
1 Now there was a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets that cried out to E·li´sha, saying: “Your servant, my husband, is dead; and you yourself well know that your own servant had continually feared Jehovah, and the creditor himself has come to take both my children for his slaves.”
2 At this E·li´sha said to her: “What shall I do for you? Tell me; what do you have in the house?” To this she said: “Your maidservant has nothing at all in the house but a spouted jar of oil.”

You can serve God and still bankrupt, why? Because there is no planning. In verse 2 she despise and say she only left a Jar of Oil. Elijah then go on and say, don't use for yourself, sell for the use of Kingdom of God. Let's look at verse 7

2 Kings chapter 4 verse 7
7 So she came in and told the man of the [true] God, and he now said: “Go, sell the oil and pay off your debts, and you [and] your sons should live from what is left.”

Pastor give us a list of those things we owe like:

Bank Loan
Bank Overdrafts
Credit Card Debts
Hired Purchases
Home Mortgages
Loans From Family
Loans From Friends
Others_________

If any one of these thing you are under in, pray to God and say :
"God, set me free from these debts" come on, be sincere and serious, and God will help you.

If Moses have the staff and can split the sea, and if the little boy have 5 loaf and 2 fish can let Jesus multiply to feed the 5000 men, then I believe the little things you have also can sow into the Kingdom of God and multiply! Amen! Praise the Lord!

Testimony from Yi Lun family:

- Yi Lun father and mother take out 40% of their retirement fund to give the building fund. After they give, God blessed them 5 times more what they give, and now the fund still growing. Yi Lun grandma also receive Salvation! And they have total of 90 members, and they are like pastor starting a church with these amount of people. God of course is good and faithful, God not only bless their spiritual family, but also bless their natural family, Yi Lun now pregnant.

Galatians chapter 6 verse 7
7 Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap;

- Yi Lun and Eugene give whatever they have, they give their marriage money for the building fund, and they receive more than what they give, they been blessed up to 10times what they give. They even been blessed with a car!

- Yi Lun younger brother sell away the drum set and give whatever he receive to the building fund, and one of his friend shifting house, give him a new drumset.

- God not only blessed them in financial, spiritual, studies and natural, God bless them in alot of way.

Joshua chapter 1 verse 8
8 This book of the law should not depart from your mouth, and you must in an undertone read in it day and night, in order that you may take care to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way successful and then you will act wisely.

1. God wants you to prosper because it is His nature

Genesis chapter 17 verse 1-2
1 When A´bram got to be ninety-nine years old, then Jehovah appeared to A´bram and said to him: “I am God Almighty. Walk before me and prove yourself faultless.
2 And I will give my covenant between me and you, that I may multiply you very, very much.”

We don't serve a stingy God.

2. God wants you to prosper so He can establish His covenant in the earth

3. God wants you to prosper so you can provide for His church

Malachi chapter 3 verse 10

4. God wants you to prosper to keep finances out of the devil's control

All dollar satan have is to do with drugs and prostitution and etc. . . So we need to prosper and take control of the finance.

5. God wants you to prosper so you can help the poor

Proverbs chapter 19 verse 17
17 He that is showing favor to the lowly one is lending to Jehovah, and his treatment He will repay to him.

6. God wants you to prosper so you can honor and glorify Him

Proverbs chapter 3 verse 9-10
9 Honor Jehovah with your valuable things and with the firstfruits of all your produce.
10 Then your stores of supply will be filled with plenty; and with new wine your own press vats will overflow.

7. God wants you to prosper so you can leave an inheritance for your family

Proverbs chapter 13 verse 22
22 One who is good will leave an inheritance to sons of sons, and the wealth of the sinner is something treasured up for the righteous one.

8. God wants you to prosper so you can prove the sincerity of your love

2 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 8
8 It is not in the way of commanding YOU, but in view of the earnestness of others and to make a test of the genuineness of YOUR love, that I am speaking.

If you love someone, you sure want to give he/she something, so is the same for God, if you love Him, you sure want to give Him something!

9. God wants you to prosper so you can lead and influence society

Benny Hinn and some foreign pastor want to go to China and reach out, but reject and not allowed. But Bill Gate come to China, the president come and fetch him and shake hand with him.

Bill Gate donate: 210 Million to Cambridge University and 1 Billion to Negro Society

So that's why God wants us to prosper, so we can have influence power to go and reach out to the society.

Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 11-13
11 “Jehovah will also make you overflow indeed with prosperity in the fruit of your belly and the fruit of your domestic animals and the fruitage of your ground, on the ground that Jehovah swore to your forefathers to give you.
12 Jehovah will open up to you his good storehouse, the heavens, to give the rain on your land in its season and to bless every deed of your hand; and you will certainly lend to many nations, while you yourself will not borrow.
13 And Jehovah will indeed put you at the head and not at the tail; and you must come to be only on top, and you will not come to be on the bottom, because you keep obeying the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I am commanding you today to observe and to do.

10. God wants you to prosper because He is a good God and He wants to bless His children

Psalms chapter 35 verse 27
27 Let those cry out joyfully and rejoice who are delighting in my righteousness,And let them say constantly:“Let Jehovah be magnified, who takes delight in the peace of his servant.”

I will prosper and have good success if we live by the Word of God.

God test you in little, not much!

Pastor don't treat us like heart lander, but future multi millionaire.

Matthew chapter 25 verse 14

God is not a God or orbit, but principal.
The word is "STEWARDSHIP" -> God work according to stewardship.

We no need to be Rocket Scientist then God can use us, normal people God can entrust His things to us.

1 Talent convert to U.S dollar is US$500, 000.
So God is not a stingy or poor God, He always want to entrust million to us.

God pattern is: He want to prosper you. God want stewardship!

Luke chapter 12 verse 15
15 Then he said to them: “Keep YOUR eyes open and guard against every sort of covetousness, because even when a person has an abundance his life does not result from the things he possesses.”

God is ok you to have things, but not things have you. Because covetousness lead to greed and lead to sin and more to more and to death...

Luke chapter 12 verse 16-20
16 With that he spoke an illustration to them, saying: “The land of a certain rich man produced well.
17 Consequently he began reasoning within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, now that I have nowhere to gather my crops?’
18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my storehouses and build bigger ones, and there I will gather all my grain and all my good things;
19 and I will say to my soul: “Soul, you have many good things laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, enjoy yourself.”’

This man acted as if all things are his, as you can see how selfish he is.

Luke chapter 12 verse 21
21 So it goes with the man that lays up treasure for himself but is not rich toward God.”

You can replace the word I highlight toward to "for".

Haggai chapter 2 verse 8
8 “‘The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ is the utterance of Jehovah of armies.

All things belong to God, even today I die, the shirt I wearing will still be here, I'm just a steward for God things.

1 Chronicles chapter 29 verse 1-5

10 Consequently David blessed Jehovah before the eyes of all the congregation and David said: “Blessed may you be, O Jehovah the God of Israel our father, from time indefinite even to time indefinite.
11 Yours, O Jehovah, are the greatness and the mightiness and the beauty and the excellency and the dignity; for everything in the heavens and in the earth is [yours]. Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah, the One also lifting yourself up as head over all.
12 The riches and the glory are on account of you, and you are dominating everything; and in your hand there are power and mightiness, and in your hand is [ability] to make great and to give strength to all.
14 “And yet, who am I and who are my people, that we should retain power to make voluntary offerings like this? For everything is from you, and out of your own hand we have given to you.

This is a mindset of Steward, even King David behave and think this way.

1 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 2
2 Besides, in this case, what is looked for in stewards is for a man to be found faithful.

There is millions dollar and million of things God actually want to entrust to you, but are you faithful?? Example, are you faithful in tithing. Every one year, pastor will share about tithing. As you got read, ever since from the Book of Genesis to Moses time and Jesus time and to the Book of Hebrew, they keep talking about tithing and tithe faithfully.

1 Corinthians chapter 16 verse 2
2 Every first day of the week let each of YOU at his own house set something aside in store as he may be prospering, so that when I arrive collections will not take place then.

You guys know, if you don't pay tax, you can get charge and go to jail. You can say the queue is too long, or I'm tired and busy, then the IRS will come and visit you and bring you go prison. :) haha... you see. In the old time, if you never tithe, they can charge you another 10percent, that mean you give 20percent. But thanks God now we live in Grace and not Law.

Grace is greater responsibility= That mean we will be automatic, God is in our heart ready, when we get our salary, we will automatic set a side the 10 percent. And this is what I always do. But don't learn my past mistake and spend the tithe. That you are not faithful ready, and then when is time to give tithe, you will end up squeezing money from here and there.

"Don't expect God to deposit something to you, when He can't withdraw anything from you."

- Don't kid yourself by saying I will tithe later in my life when I have 10,000, when you got 100 and can't tithe 10 dollar. God don't test you in much, but in little. :)
- That's why God have a fair system. 10 percent. Not a set rule of $50. To some other 50 is peanut, travel from Jurong West to Expo, and that's it. To other's they don't have that much money, especially student or unemployed. So God say 10 percent, unequal amount, but equal commitment.
- You may say, what if I have 0 income, then you take 0 times 10 percent is zero, and you come to God and say, here is my zero income, and He will say, good and faithful servant, and now I will make you fruitful to have something in your hand, so next time you come you can produce and give me something. Amen!

Luke chapter 12 verse 21-31
21 So it goes with the man that lays up treasure for himself but is not rich toward God.”
22 Then he said to his disciples: “On this account I say to YOU, Quit being anxious about YOUR souls as to what YOU will eat or about YOUR bodies as to what YOU will wear.
23 For the soul is worth more than food and the body than clothing.
24 Mark well that the ravens neither sow seed nor reap, and they have neither barn nor storehouse, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more worth are YOU than birds?
25 Who of YOU by being anxious can add a cubit to his life span?
26 If, therefore, YOU cannot do the least thing, why be anxious about the remaining things?
27 Mark well how the lilies grow; they neither toil nor spin; but I tell YOU, Not even Sol´o·mon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these.

Verse 31 tell us very clearly is added, not times! So when we talk about add, is slowly add on and add on.

2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 6-10 -> multiply
6 But as to this, he that sows sparingly will also reap sparingly; and he that sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 God, moreover, is able to make all his undeserved kindness abound toward YOU, that, while YOU always have full self-sufficiency in everything, YOU may have plenty for every good work. 9 (Just as it is written: “He has distributed widely, he has given to the poor ones, his righteousness continues forever.”
10 Now he that abundantly supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating will supply and multiply the seed for YOU to sow and will increase the products of YOUR righteousness.)

Our mindset need to change.

Seek his kingdom is priority=> focus and multiply in giving, not add on to your giving, when we multiply our giving, God will add our needs :) => True steward is not keep busy and worry for worldly things like money and etc. Of course we need to plan our finnacial well, but there is more life than paying bill.

You may be poor today, but ever since you follow God, you not going to poor forever!

Ps Kong and Sun last time rent flat in Pasir Ris, but now Ps Kong have own retail business, and Sun is a singer and staying at overseas and doing humanitarian work and singing all over the world. All these come from multiply in giving.

How to seek his kingdom and righteousness: MULTIPLY YOUR GIVING!

Ps Kong want to qualify you as a steward today.
- The way to qualify is "tithing". If you have not be a tither, start to be one today.
I remember when I was primary school, I got 3 dollar, I tithe 30cent. Remember, God test us in less, not much.

Don't think that God want take all your money and suck all thing. Talk about giving, people very scare, they think will God call me give all things and left nothing for myself. Of course no la. Unless God spoke to you in a very special way. As you can see, after so long we keep giving, we still live so happily and never lack of anything.

There is a time someone receive 50dollar, and he say to himself is a blessing, God say to him is a return. Then God challenge him to give, and he abit reluctant, and God spoke to him directly, you can keep the money and I don't need! Overall in the first place, God create all these things, do He lack?

God is a giver, not taker, blesser and not robber.

2) The House of God is a place of FAITH and COVENANT.

Genesis chaopter 28 verse 13
13 And, look! there was Jehovah stationed above it, and he proceeded to say:

Generation to generation we will receive the blessing God promise to our forefather! We need to have faith to obtain the Covenant God promise to our forefather!

3) The House of God is a place of REVELATION

Genesis chapter 28 verse 14-15
14 And your seed will certainly become like the dust particles of the earth, and you will certainly spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and by means of you and by means of your seed all the families of the ground will certainly bless themselves.
15 And here I am with you and I will keep you in all the way you are going and I will return you to this ground, because I am not going to leave you until I have actually done what I have spoken to you.”

Psalms chapter 27 verse 4
4 One thing I have asked from Jehovah—It is what I shall look for,That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life,To behold the pleasantness of JehovahAnd to look with appreciation upon his temple.

House of God is a place for us to connect to God, that when we come and recharge & go back to our school, work place to feel power and energetic.

2 Chronicles chapter 5 verse 13-14
13 and it came about that as soon as the trumpeters and the singers were as one in causing one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Jehovah, and as soon as they lifted up the sound with the trumpets and with the cymbals and with the instruments of song and with praising Jehovah, “for he is good, for to time indefinite is his loving-kindness,” the house itself was filled with a cloud, the very house of Jehovah,
14 and the priests were not able to stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of the [true] God.

It can happen in our cellgroup also. Cause when we worship and lift our hand up, we are pulling down the presence of God.

Some people like to watch online service rather than go service. Unless you are travelling is ok, if not then go for service. What if Pastor want to lay hand on us and we need to go down for altar call, how can we go down from our house, put our head into the laptop?? haha.... no right. So that's the important we need to attend service regularly.

GLORY = "VALUE" ~ The more we spent there, we are Christ like.

2 Chronicles chapter 9 verse 3-4
3 When the queen of She´ba got to see Sol´o·mon’s wisdom and the house that he had built,
4 and the food of his table and the sitting of his servants and the table service of his waiters and their attire and his drinking service and their attire, and his burnt sacrifices that he regularly offered up at the house of Jehovah, then there proved to be no more spirit in her.

Queen Sheba fainted, no more spirit in her when she saw Solomon place and the beauty of his wisdom and works. And that's why we are having our Arise and Build, not just build building in the marketplace, but for the marketplace and building lives! So let's build the House of God like Solomon when people look at it, they will feel so awesome about God works in us.

Genesis chapter 28 verse 18-19
18 So Jacob got up early in the morning and took the stone that was there as his head supporter and he set it up as a pillar and poured oil on the top of it.
19 Further, he called the name of that place Beth´el; but the fact is, Luz was the city’s name formerly.

Bethel means the House of God
Everything with God is first class, YOU and ME are first class!

Genesis chapter 28 verse 20-22
20 And Jacob went on to vow a vow, saying: “If God will continue with me and will certainly keep me on this way on which I am going and will certainly give me bread to eat and garments to wear
21 and I shall certainly return in peace to the house of my father, then Jehovah will have proved to be my God.
22 And this stone that I have set up as a pillar will become a house of God, and as for everything that you will give me I shall without fail give the tenth of it to you.”

4) The House of God is the GATE OF HEAVEN

You will do 2 things if the House of God is the Gate of Heaven.

1~ Tithe

2~ Vow

Whatever we have is His, when we tithe the 10%, He will bless our the other 90%.
And let's make a VOW how much God spoke to you to pledge for the Building Fund!
Remember, God is not a taker, but giver, He is not a robber, but blesser.

We know God is real, that's why we GIVE!

God give everyone something! Example I'm good at "Magic Tricks", we can depend on each of everyone and learn from each other their talents. Other's can learn from me magic, and I can learn from them guitar or singing and etc . . .

When we have the talent, use that and serve the ministry, don't play God and don't rob God, use your talent in your work place, school or wherever to glorified God.

1 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 4-7 & verse 11
4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but there is the same spirit;
5 and there are varieties of ministries, and yet there is the same Lord;
6 and there are varieties of operations, and yet it is the same God who performs all the operations in all persons.
7 But the manifestation of the spirit is given to each one for a beneficial purpose.

11 But all these operations the one and the same spirit performs, making a distribution to each one respectively just as it wills.

Friends, let show concern to one another, esteem one another, and be humble to learn from one another.

It is not what you know, but who you know!
Learning is a never ending process.

Matthew chapter 25 verse 16-19
16 Immediately the one that received the five talents went his way and did business with them and gained five more.

God has make investment in our life, He expect a account and return.

4- Faithfulness

Matthew chapter 25 verse 26
26 In reply his master said to him, ‘Wicked and sluggish slave, you knew, did you, that I reaped where I did not sow and gathered where I did not winnow?

God called him wicked, dug the talent and hide it is just like you got your skill, but hide it and never share with others.

Don't live in a contend way. Army of God people been through alot. We should target ourselves to live a excellence life, more of POWER, ANOINTING of God! Amen!

Whatever talent we have, don't just be faithful, but fruitful! Amen!

5- Faith

You cannot please God by play safe. Last time when City Harvest Church at first start, people say our church are kid and young church. But now we RISE UP, because of FAITH! Amen!

If there is faith, there is no fear
If there is fear, faith don't exist!

Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6
6 Moreover, without faith it is impossible to please [him] well, for he that approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him.

Romans chapter 14 verse 23
23 But if he has doubts, he is already condemned if he eats, because [he does] not [eat] out of faith. Indeed, everything that is not out of faith is sin.

God prefer you have at least a 1percent faith, than 0percent!
Dosen't mean when you never see God hand move, mean He is not there, NO!

6- Application

Matthew chapter 25 verse 28
28 “‘Therefore TAKE away the talent from him and give it to him that has the ten talents.

You might say is very unfair, but this is life. Society is like that, when you don't use your talent, you are out!

Is just like go to GYM and workout, the more you go, you will get a nice and shape body, if you don't go, you will shagg.

7- Reward

Matthew chapter 25 verse 23
23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things. I will appoint you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’

REWARD:
-First comes the affirmation : ‘Well done, good and faithful slave!
-Second comes the promotion : You were faithful over a few things. I will appoint you over many things.
-Lastly is the celebration : Enter into the joy of your master.’

Use your talent wisely, because God is going to reward us and never short change us. The time we serve in ministry will not in vain!

CONCLUSION: Is the gift for yourself or for God Kingdom? Come on, stop being a spectator, but be a participator, so we can train and help the next generation! Great is our God!

God is watching where you place your faith, if you believe He can do anything for you, it will! All you need to have is FAITH.

PART 1 <FAITH for success in life>

1) FAITH IS OUR CONNECTION

- Real success is when you at heaven when God say: "well done my servant!" And all you need is faith.

Romans chapter 1 verse 16
16 For I am not ashamed of the good news; it is, in fact, God’s power for salvation to everyone having faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek;

The Gospel is the power to him/her who believe, is the power of God to him/her who believe by FAITH.

There is 3 process:
First you need to Believe,
then from there come the Trust,
then it come by Faith, then from faith, everything is from faith to faith! Faith is the connection!

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8-9
8 By this undeserved kindness, indeed, YOU have been saved through faith; and this not owing to YOU, it is God’s gift.
9 No, it is not owing to works, in order that no man should have ground for boasting.

We are saved through FAITH.

Mark chapter 6 verse 2-6
2 When it became sabbath, he started teaching in the synagogue; and the greater number of those listening were astounded and said: “Where did this man get these things? And why should this wisdom have been given this man, and such powerful works be performed through his hands?
3 This is the carpenter the son of Mary and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon, is it not? When you lack of faith, God can't move His hand for you.

Romans chapter 10 verse 8-9
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your own mouth and in your own heart”; that is, the “word” of faith, which we are preaching.
9 For if you publicly declare that ‘word in your own mouth,’ that Jesus is Lord, and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.

Your faith can work only need to take 2 place, MOUTH & HEART.

You may have bad thoughts, but do not doubt when you ask, but believe in FAITH God will give, for double minded will not receive anything.

Do you think someone want to give you something when he already say yes, and you keep thinking and want to take and don't want to take like that, won't he get boring of you and give the things to others who believe will receive.?

Don't one day trust God and the next day you cry and don't trust Him, believe by FAITH God will help you to overcome all things and will help you to trust Him day by day.

Wisdom brings everything, wisdom is the source for all things.
FAITH is the decision to believe, not feeling.
And if you can believe He saved you, why can't you trust Him for finance. FAITH!!!!

2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7

Jesus never teach that what to pray, specific and etc . . But He teach the manner we should pray, the attitude.

verse 9= Your Father is the President of the World, and this is your own walk and identity. You should feel proud as a Christian and walk with happiness.

verse 10= You are here to build God kingdom, not ours. We must have kingdom minded. For you must be heavenly minded and not earthly minded. What the earthly can gain profit is just that little, but heaven profit is infinite.

verse 11= Bread not depend on your own strength, but God. For He is
(Jehovah Jireh=God of Provider).
We must have the attitude of: Even we have Diploma, Degree or Bachelor holder or whatever, we still depend on Him. Diploma all these is not our source, but God is our source.

verse 12= We can't pray the Lord's Prayer when you still have not forgive anyone who sin against you.

verse 13= And do not let SIN be our lifestyle.

I challenge you friend! Those of you have not tithe, start to be a tither man! When you give God your 10percent, He will bless your remaining 90percent of finance. If you believe God, say AMEN!

I encourage you take a envelope, when everytime you apply faith and overcome a matter or issue, write it down and put in a envelope, so everytime before your faith grow weak, take a look at it what God has done for you, and keep on moving by FAITH!

FAITH take 2 place: Believe in the HEART and speak from the MOUTH.

11 So Jesus took the loaves and, after giving thanks, he distributed them to those reclining, likewise also as much of the small fishes as they wanted.

12 But when they had their fill he said to his disciples: “Gather together the fragments that remain over, so that nothing is wasted.”

13 Therefore they gathered them together, and they filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.

14 Hence when the men saw the signs he performed, they began to say: “This is for a certainty the prophet that was to come into the world.”

In the Gospel of the Mark, the time before they distributed the bread is already evening time, and the disciple never eat finish all the food they have, which is the loaf and the fish. But the disciple do it according what Jesus say, get them sit down, and Jesus bless and give thanks to the food, and the disciple give to the crowd, and every neighbour break the food and give, and this become a routine, so it come back to 12 basket full of fragment. GIVE and MIRACLE come. For God like to give, so we must give, and when we give, we behave more like God. That's why God gave his only begotten son, that whoever believe in him may have life.

Take note the word verse 11 "distributed" & "eat as much as they wanted" First they distributed, then miracle follow, and they eat as much as they want. God will not short change you when you give.

We have not win the war!

- We have the Blood of the Lamb, and that is Jesus blood who redeem us.

- The Word of Testimony to testify for Him.

- In China, student are taught to be martyr->(to die for some belief), if the student can do on to some belief to die as a martyr, how about US. To die for Christ, who 2000 years ago die for our SIN.

Part 2) Divine Command To War

= We must prepare to fight the future war, not the previous war Jesus fight.

= Intercession, open heaven door, so we can hear God voice clearer, just like prophet, they hear and see vision, So Apostle execute the command.

27 Moreover, the danger exists not only that this occupation of ours will come into disrepute but also that the temple of the great goddess Ar´te·mis will be esteemed as nothing and even her magnificence which the whole [district of] Asia and the inhabited earth worships is about to be brought down to nothing.”

This talk about the goddess of diana, have 21 breast, Dr. C. Peter Wagner was saying, how she can buy 21 bra and wear it, haha....

Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12

12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places.

So get ready to war for the good, not the bad. Be ready!

#1 Dream

God give Noah vision to make the Ark and save his family members before the flood.
God give Abraham be the Father of all nation.
God give David to become King of Israel.

First come dream, then follow by decision

#2 Decision

Are you going to do it after you receive the Vision God give you? A dream is worthless unless you go for it!

If you want to do business, didn't you need to sit down and check and count the cost, before you decide to do anything.

We need to let go of our fear and insecurity.

JESUS disciples left everything and follow Him, and then become great.
Abraham leave his homeland first, then he receive the Promise God promise him.
"Your past should glorify God, not SIN!"

God is interested in our character, not comfort, because Christian= is a faith of walk.
When good thing past, let it past, but don't let fear come in. :)

#3 Delay

A time of waiting is a period, don't be discouraged of your situation.
God allow delay is to test us we trust Him or not.

Noah wait for so many days then the flood stop
Abraham wait for almost 100years then receive his first born
King David after get anointed, have to wait for years before become King.

If they all wait and trust in God, how about us???

#4 Dead End
Nothing is impossible for God.

As you got read the Book of Exodus, the Red Sea story.
The Egyptian chase after them with Chariots, in this kind of situation is no way out ready, but in the end God deliver Israel and let the sea cover them.

At the desert they blame Moses for bringing them out from Egypt to starve them, but God did miracle and let manna drop from heaven.

#5 Deliverance

Sometime God let our dream die, is because He want us to rely more on to Him, if we believe He can raise the dead, He also can raise the situation.

2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 8-10

8 For we do not wish YOU to be ignorant, brothers, about the tribulation that happened to us in the [district of] Asia, that we were under extreme pressure beyond our strength, so that we were very uncertain even of our lives.

10 From such a great thing as death he did rescue us and will rescue us; and our hope is in him that he will also rescue us further.

-We really need to push up our faith of level up, not pull down but push up.

-I don't think you say you will like to play game and play at level 1 will do, of course you like to go for more and try more new things and see more new things, right? Is the same, push your level up.

-Jesus and Lazarus story

As you know Lazarus died in those day when Jesus was around. But Jesus was at another place. And Lazarus sister ask of Him to come and see Lazarus or heal him, as he is going to die. But Jesus take His time and say wait a few more days. (you might think, what!!!!!!!!!! wait????)

When Jesus reach there, Lazarus already dead, and the sister say, if you are here early, Lazarus won't be dying now. And Lazarus is inside the tomb almost 4 days, Jesus say is never too late, cause this is the time to glorify the Father and people can see. As Jesus shout for Lazarus to come out, and Lazarus come out from the tomb.

Moral: Is the same in our life, sometime if we have problem and want God faster come and deliver us, that might not be a big problem, to God it is small, then if God deliver you, then that will bring small glory to God, but God want a bigger glory for Hiim and a power testimony for you.

God is the beginning and also the end.What he start, also let Him finish, we might be in the centre facing so many obstacle, but He will lead us out into the place He want us to be.

Don't let the past hold you back, God gave you dream not to fail but to fulfill.

Romans chapter 8 verse 37-39
37 To the contrary, in all these things we are coming off completely victorious through him that loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor governments nor things now here nor things to come nor powers
39 nor height nor depth nor any other creation will be able to separate us from God’s love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As a Christian, we are more than a conqueror in Christ.

Point 1-
God can save us completely.

Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25
25 Consequently he is able also to save completely those who are approaching God through him, because he is always alive to plead for them.

When we face trouble, we should cry out to God, who can help us. Instead of mixing those bully you, or listen to mp3 to satisfy you, CRY OUT TO GOD THE SOURCE OF CREATION!

Point 2-
God is able to keep you from sin.

Jude 24
24 Now to the one who is able to guard YOU from stumbling and to set YOU unblemished in the sight of his glory with great joy,

Pray that Holy Spirit will guide your path and way.

Point 3-
God is able to supply all our need.

2 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 8
8 God, moreover, is able to make all his undeserved kindness abound toward YOU, that, while YOU always have full self-sufficiency in everything, YOU may have plenty for every good work.

Bible say ALL, not some, so ALL is ALL.

Point 4-
God is able to heal all disease

My testimony:
I remember when I was secondary 2, I was attending a cell group before school assembly start, so I was having a fever, at that time my cell group leader lay hand and pray for me, the fever just left like that.

Point 5-
God is able to deliver us from death

As you know in the Bible, the Book of Daniel his story at the fire furnance, he was not burn to death, because God deliver him. To know more about the story, you can go to the Online Bible URL I have given, go and find Daniel, and you can read the story from there. And God will protect our life, but dosen't mean we will live forever and won't die physically, we will still die, but we will live eternity in Heaven with Him.

Romans chapter 8 verse 11
11 If, now, the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in YOU, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also make YOUR mortal bodies alive through his spirit that resides in YOU.

Christ has give us life

Friends! No matter what, promise Him that you won't backslide. As you know, staying in the house of God is wonderful. Stay strong, be rooted, so that devil can't pull you, even when the devil pull you, he will fly, cause you are so rooted in the kingdom of God.

I encourage you not to limit God and pray, pray for your ownself, and also pray that what you want to do for the kingdom of God: Preacher? Guitarist?? C'on, let's pray!

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20
20 Now to the one who can, according to his power which is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive,

Exodus chapter 17 verse 8-13
8 And the A·mal´ek·ites proceeded to come and fight against Israel in Reph´i·dim.
9 At this Moses said to Joshua: “Choose men for us and go out, fight against the A·mal´ek·ites. Tomorrow I am stationing myself upon the top of the hill, with the rod of the [true] God in my hand.”
10 Then Joshua did just as Moses had said to him, in order to fight against the A·mal´ek·ites; and Moses, Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 And it occurred that as soon as Moses would lift his hand up, the Israelites proved superior; but as soon as he would let down his hand, the A·mal´ek·ites proved superior.
12 When the hands of Moses were heavy, then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat upon it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on this side and the other on that side, so that his hands held steady until the sun set.
13 Hence Joshua vanquished Am´a·lek and his people with the edge of the sword.

God work through people like you and I, just like God use Moses who murder people before. God don't work through method, but people. So all things are possible for God to work through us for His will.

Dr Alex Abraham use to be a unknown preacher, there is a time he accidentally knock down a boy, and the boy is in serious condition going to die, and Alex Abraham was outside a church, and he is not a believer, he pray and say :" God, if this boy can come back to normal and won't die, I will believe and know there is God, and I will give my whole life to serve You." So the boy was sent to hospital, and Miracle happen, and the boy didn't die, and Alex Abraham was not charge to court. Praise the Lord. 2 good thing happen at one time at God timing.

People always think when we serve God, our marriage/work and etc will turn out to be no good. Do you think true?? How can God who love us and want to prosper us and yet curse us with all these unhappiness. He can't be contradicting with His Word. If God allow a trial, He also provide a way out for us, and this is bit and piece of life processing moulding, to shape and train our character, if everyday life is a life of happy and no sadness, then when we 70plus old ready, then come and learn to accept bad news, isn't it very terrible. Isn't this should be the way, when we young time should learn how to accept fall and stand up again.

2-Self Worth
How we VALUE about ourself?
There is people wondering how Pastor Kong and Sun can do so much great things for God or how they become so successful. The answer is at Romans chapter 8 verse 31-32

31 What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who will be against us?
32 He who did not even spare his own Son but delknivered him up for us all, why will he not also with him kindly give us all other things?

So we must know our Value in God eye. If He is for us, who can be against us. Yet He gave His only Son.

3-Self Esteem
How we FEEL about ourself?

1 John chapter 4 verse 16
16 And we ourselves have come to know and have believed the love that God has in our case.
God is love, and he that remains in love remains in union with God and God remains in union with him.

The WORD 'know'=experience
The WORD 'believed'=by faith

We need to feel good about ourself, people can feel lousy about us, but even if we feel lousy about ourself, we are no where but zero. So when people feel lousy about us, we must feel good about ourself!

4-Self Respect
How I HONOUR my DIGNITY?
-Sometime you lose is you win, no need win all the time.
-Remember SERVANT is not SERVILE. Being Servant of God and we Serve people is not Servile that can let people kick around or bullied.
